Quyen qualified as a Solicitor in 1998 and ever since has been practising in family law. Prior to joining Woolley & Co Quyen was Team Leader and Head of the Family Department in her previous employments when she supervised eight lawyers all specialising in family law.
Based in Bournemouth Quyen deals with all aspects of family law following the breakdown of a marriage or relationship, including same sex relationships. She also undertakes cases involving issues at the beginning of a relationship e.g. the preparation of pre-nuptial, cohabitation and pre-civil agreements.
Quyen’s principal areas of expertise are complex financial matters, Civil Partnerships and disputes relating to children, particularly those with an international element, e.g. leave to remove a child to another country and child abduction.
Quyen is a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association), the country’s leading organisation of family lawyers. Since 2004, Quyen has been a Resolution accredited family law specialist in domestic violence and private children law.
