Kate who is based in Northamptonshire, specialises in divorce, financial matters, children law (contact and residence) as well as having an interest in co-habitees’ disputes. Kate is keen to help couples at all stages of their relationship – from preparing a prenuptial or living together agreement to try and prevent disagreements if separation occurs later, to guiding them through the process of divorce or dissolution and the financial and emotional consequences of what is often a very traumatic experience.
Kate has experience in all financial issues arising from the breakdown of relationships, including emergency remedies where necessary. She is also able to deal with the financial consequences of the breakdown of Civil Partnerships, or where the parties have not been married.
She has helped both mothers and fathers support their children through the difficult times that separation and divorce can bring to a family, as well as representing other family members such as grandparents.
Kate has a friendly and approachable manner, and takes time to listen and understand the issues which affect her clients. She is adaptable and not afraid to deal with challenging situations when required. Her clients value her sympathetic but forthright approach.
In her spare time Kate enjoys spending time with her family, including her three young boys.
